I see this question alot, so....
In my opinion here is best option:
  1. Create a Coinbase account
  2. Connect your bank account
  3. Purchase USDC with your bank account (You'll have to wait 5-7 days but you pay no fees)
  4. While that is clearing setup a Poloniex account.
  5. Once USDC clears in Coinbase send to Poloniex and trade for BCHSV (aka BSV)

Alternatively, you can use a debit card on Coinbase to purchase the USDC and pay a fee to have access to the coin immediately. You will still need to send to Poloniex to trade for BSV.
Unfortunately, it's the best way right now. If there is a better way... someone please let me know!
Cheers! 🤙🏼

Poloniex now supports bank wires. If you wire in , they claim the bank link is established that will enable you to also wire out. Skip the Coinbase entirely if you are working with over $1000

If you are just buying some BSV to hold as an investment, you can do this in five minutes by installing Robinhood. When you link your bank in there, they'll do an ACH transfer and let you immediately buy the BSV. Robinhood does not let you use your BSV.

We should also mention that there are also state by state restrictions. Some people live in restrictive states where these services don't support residents of those states.

This is what I've been doing also; I was excited to eliminate Coinbase and wire directly into Poloniex, but they charge a $25 fee, so unless your in a hurry it's cheaper to use Coinbase.Pro. I believe the Poloniex wire cleared within 1-2 days, but coinbase deposits take a full week.
