Bitprim vision about BitcoinCash development plan
Bitprim has been participating in BitcoinCash development ecosystem since its genesis.
BitcoinCash development ecosystem includes the leading implementation BitcoinABC and others such as Bitcoin Unlimited, Bitcrust, Parity, BitcoinXT among others. It also includes the team in charge of ElectrumX.
Each implementation and independent developers have their own priorities while sharing the same mission for BitcoinCash. This healthy ecosystem, which includes several points of view and different development processes that enrich all the process and is a unique way to interact in cryptocurrencies development, is a model where we are all learning in the process and improving it day by day.
In our vision, BitcoinCash is a Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System as defined by the “Bitcoin Whitepaper.” In order to achieve its mission, we have to provide users a platform with very low fees and fast transactions, as well as a solid endless scaling of the system capacity. BitcoinCash focuses on massive global adoption from users and business, preserving their decentralized design.
Always keeping our main mission clearly, we also wish to start including features allowing the network to let decentralized trustless transactions and smart contracts. This vision is aligned with the one of the “Internet of Value”. By including this additional protocol features we expect to propose improvements for fungibility and privacy in a reasonable time, considering it is also one of the primary requirements for the massive adoption of BitcoinCash.
Al least during this stages of high speed development and continuous improvements, it is necessary to do several protocol upgrades, and in order to have an organized process we have agreed on having two upgrades per year (May and November) and freezing new features of the next upgrade three months before the upgrade date to guarantee the quality of the testing and giving time for the ecosystem to update.
Bitprim Project is open to the community and independent developers are welcomed. Expanding the developers community will increase the speed of the protocol improvements long awaited by users and businesses
