I think Vitalik gives the best response to this question:
Honestly I am not sure it really matters. If you knew who Shatoshi was would that convince you to use Bitcoin Cash over “Core” or any other coin for that matter? If so you would be using it for the wrong reasons! The masking of Satoshi is as ingenious as the amazing technology he gave the world!
I don'atoshi or not , I think his drive for patenting everything is dangerous . Real satoshi was giving away stuff for free. As I am against software patents , iI think this is the most dangerous thing and I didn't imagine satoshi would be a patent troll. And I don't like any inventor going this roytute.
Patents are evil statist inventions.
The mistake everyone makes is to believe that Satoshi would want to be identified as such. There is great risks to doing it and little reward. Even if you consider coming public for some reasons, you might as well quickly backtrack when you start to envision the consequences of it.
What's more, the majority of people would be disapointed if they knew who Satoshi is in real life or who he has become. Men can have smart ideas but they are still men. The anonymity allows people and media to focus on the technology and not the man. And I think that is the best way. If I were Satoshi I would never provide a public proof because of this.
