So let's say you're writing a memo and you'd rather be able to write an article, than to be limited to 217 characters, but you also want to give people the option and ability to reply to others who have made comments, as Yours doesn't have that feature yet.
I was talking here about how I think Yours and Memo both have awesome features; how I'd love to have a platform that has both of them. Well, I think we can do that manually.
All you need is a memo account.
Here's how you could use your memo account:
  1. If you're writing a short post and the material isn't quite Yours-length, write it on memo. Yours isn't for quick thoughts and tidbit anyway, really.
  2. If you were about to make a short comment to a post, write your comment, that you were going to write on Yours, on a memo post. And then link that memo post on your reply. Then the author of the post will be able to directly reply to you!
What do you think of the context embedding job I've done? This is a small sample of how these mediums could work in tandem. Imagine being able to link to a long conversation, due to it being linked all the way to the beginning, and being able to explore various avenues of thought, that can never go away, and never be censored.

Along with this thought is the current fact that comments here on Yours are mutable to a limited degree.
This means you can link to textual variables here.
Sadlly there is not yet any way of creating a text (~iframe) construct on MEMO
or we would all go wild with being able to display dynamic contact in MEMO posts...

@kos Yes, mttrapp, if it were actually usable as a writing subscription platform.
Until you're able to follow people on there, there's not much of a point to trying to interact and develop connections that you can't.
