Caracas, capital of Venezuela, already has its second automatic teller machine (BATM). This is another equipment installed by the Venezuelan company Intercambios (Veinte Venezuela). This time, the device was activated in the Eurobuilding hotel, in the eastern part of the Venezuelan city.
The company reported on the activation of the new BATM on Wednesday 23 October through a publication in Instagram. The publication of the Veinte Venezuela team does not clarify which are the specifications of the new ATM. If we are guided by the first equipment of this type, installed in a branch of the department store Traki, the cashier serves for the purchase of bitcoin and dash with cash dollars.
The user enters the amount of the fiat coin he will use, puts the QR code of his bitcoin or dash address into a machine reader and receives the equivalent of his dollars in the crypto currency of his choice.
Crypto cash dispensers in Latin America
In addition to these first two ATMs, another Venezuelan city (Mérida) has a pair of mobile ATMs, points of sale that are used for the purchase and sale of cryptomonedas, in addition to allowing payments for products with cryptomonedas such as bitcoin, ether, dash or stablecoin dai.
As for the panorama in the rest of South America, the percentage of BATM devices is low compared to other continents. In data from Coin ATM Radar, the region has only 1.1% (63, in total) of the world's ATMs. Of these ATMs, the majority (36) are in Colombian territory and Argentina (11).
The Coin ATM Radar data does not yet reflect the addition of the second available ATM in Venezuela. By reaching two teams, the South American country would reach Chile, Aruba and Costa Rica, in data from the same tracking portal of crypto cash dispensers in the world.

and always remember that Bitcoin is BSV... not BTC, and is the only one that can scale and be mass adopted (which is the only thing that can increase its value long term).

@-ed- Don't worry friend I know that, but there are still many ignorant people who let themselves be carried away by BTC just because it is worth more than other currencies, but I hope that will change in the future.
