What if Today is the Day the Dragon is Slain?
Price action has not been bullish for Bitcoin Cash today. Nobody can deny that. Bitcoin Legacy races to the sky, but Bitcoin Cash, despite all the bullish news previously discussed, continues to drop.
Why? Well, we know the causation of that is relativity to the BCHBTC ratio pair. We have speculated with a certain degree of accuracy that this is related to mining profitability and a potential exit strategy amidst Operation Dragonslayer.
But, are things so simple?
Behind the wall will be a discussion of:
Xapo dumping Bitcoin Cash again? Omfg! What about Bitmex?!
Feathers of the Cashening Swan
Is the Situation What it Appears to Be?
What Role Does IOTA Play?
I appreciate that the cost of reading these articles is non-insignificant for many people. I really am grateful and thankful to everyone who buys the wall and reads what I do. Without you, there would be no point.
That being said, knowledge is power and trading is a zero sum game. I’ve given it a lot of thought and when it comes to research, information, and trading calls, I actually think it’s more correct for there to be a cost than to provide it pro-bono.
After all, because this is a zero-sum game, there are winners and there are losers.
Putting everything together takes many hours and although I don’t mind doing that, when thousands or tens of thousands of people see everything in plain sight, it makes for crowded trades.
When that happens, I wonder to myself if I should just keep quiet or handle things differently.
After all, people are going to make money when they have correct information and strategies before them. It is fair, and a little bit more righteous, that there is a cost incurred in exchange.
With information and analysis like this, should it really be for free, in plain view, for the whole world to see?
I’m less motivated by money. I also know that there’s a balance between cost-per-article and number-of-readers. I don’t want to drain people’s resources, but I also know people read what I write because they want information and strategies to make themselves a future with.
That is perfect, but this is a more balanced solution on both a material and principled plane. There's also a correlation in this world between cost and quality, and I don't think it's right to provide in-depth, high quality analysis of what is possibly the most major event in crypto for too low of a cost.
In any event, read on. If the market decides that the price is too high, I will lower it. I am not as much trying to maximize mah gainz as much as I am trying to set the price commensurately.
Operation Dragonslayer is the hottest topic there is, after all.
